The project:
Masterhitch completed a ground breaking project at Ebbsfleet Kimberly Clark, involving the meticulous removal and installation of an 80 tonne cylinder. The huge cylinder was removed and securely placed within a bespoke transport frame engineered by the Masterhitch team.
The process:
Each cylinder was lowered into its dedicated transport frame before manoeuvring onto specifically crafted steelwork. Once outside, a meticulously orchestrated operation commenced as a 500 tonne crane hoisted these cylinders onto lorries. The lorries then transported the cylinders to where they would then be cut up.
