For the uninitiated, The Masterhitch is a quick-hitch system or a way of fitting and swapping buckets and attachments to excavators that allows very rapid change compared to the traditional pin system.

Modern site work requires the use of many different buckets and tools, whilst there is a tool for every job, fitting the right tool on site usually requires a great deal of effort and costly downtime. With the MASTERHITCH system, operaters can change tools on their own in seconds from the comfort and safety of their cab. Downtime is dramatically reduced and operator efficiency and effectiveness is significantly increased.
Time is money... Downtime is both very costly and inefficient and the more time operators spend "off the job", the greater the cost to you. Switching to the MASTERHITCH system will greatly increase site productivity and save you money. This means you will quickly recoup the initial investment in the system. Maintaining original geometry...
Many quick-hitch systems require special adaptors that totally destroy the original geometry of the dipper. This reduces break out forces by up to 30% making the machine far less efficient. Altering the geometry can impact on operator safety and will almost certainly require more engine revs and consequently more fuel to break the same amount of material. The Masterhitch system maintains the original geometry of the machine with no adverse effect on break out forces, overall efficiency and fuel consumption.
