The project:

CP manufacturing enlisted the help of Masterhitch to assist with the manufacturing of parts for a recycling centre being installed near Enfield. Another local company, Ebbsfleet Engineering, also helped with the installation. To save time, some of the items were altered and made up the full assembly rather than having a bolt together item as originally designed.

The parts manufactured:

The parts made for the project included:

• The conveyor walls and divert shoots
• The leg supports for the conveyors
• A frame to hold the cyclone fans
• The pit wall and walking floor walls

All of the parts were made using British Standard steel to be durable and promote a long life.
