The Project

Our customer commissioned us to create two steel frame table structures for display purposes only. 

What will the table be used for?

Our customer needed a sturdy steel table that would be solid enough to withstand the weight of a car. Each table weighed 760kg, and will have a crushed car placed on top, weighing between 1.5 – 2 tons.

Once everything is in place, a Perspex cover will be positioned over the car to provide further protection. The table has also been created to include a display panel. This will show an image of the car before it was crushed, and the reason why it had been crushed. 

How big is the steel table structure?

Due to the car being displayed on top, we had to make the table 2 metres x 1.5 metres.
